English Conversation 1/2

Everyday English

Improve your English for everyday communication. This course addresses grammar, pronunciation, conversation, Australian Idioms and the writing skills. This course is designed for post-beginner /intermediate speakers of English.

Cost: $300 Australian dollars   Location: Sydney

A Statement of Participation is issued upon completion.

Prerequisite: Essential

Spoken and written English at post-beginner level.

Study load

Two hours per day, twice a week for 8 weeks.

Written English for Work

During this course you will develop the skills needed to write different types of workplace related documents. We will focus on the purpose of different types of written texts, target audience, levels of formality, drafting and editing texts, layout and formatting and the logical sequencing of information. Content areas can be modified based on students’needs and requests.  It will give you the opportunity to enhance your writing skills, including grammar and punctuation.The course will include formal letter writing, report writing and exposition writing.

Crash Course in Grammar 

Using correct grammar is a vital part of writing any professional and effective documents, yet for many it remains a mystery. Learn grammatical rules, sentence structures, correct word usage and punctuation skills. Individual needs will be addressed.

Crash Course in Grammar is a short workshop designed to meet your identified grammar needs that impact on your workplace writing and personal communication. It covers basic grammar rules, English verb tenses and use of punctuation as well as other grammar issues that you may raise.

Cost: $80 Australian dollars   Location: Sydney
